Public Service Internships I

Course Target

In order to help students in this department understand public service practices as soon as possible, this department has been developing and promoting university department practical plans for a long time. Based on this course design, it is expected that after evaluating the relevant execution results and student needs, it is time to decide whether to formally reorganize administrative practices into compulsory courses, or to provide other courses (such as topics) as an option. This course design continues the "Volunteer Management and Public Service" selection course that has been held for about six years since the past trial. It is now under the name of "Administrative Practice I and II", and has lowered the learning score to 2 points each for the first and second periods, becoming a special selection for junior and fourth-year students and continuing to handle it. The design of the above-mentioned courses for the first and second periods is centered on the verification of "Student Learning Achievements". We hope to provide diverse assistance to junior and fourth-year students to take a look at what they have learned, and then choose a practical field and discussion topic, and combine a group of friends to jointly develop the eldest child, and to create a work of Blue Sea for their career. As for "Administrative Practice (I)", at least a series of "Cluster Fundraising" workshops (predicted to be executed in five weeks) and one off-campus interview (order) will be arranged with the course. Five theme lectures are used as a guide (those who choose this course shall not accumulate the number of experience points when participating in the above lectures), and will use the "Public Service" course and international case explanations and analysis. The lectures can be roughly divided into three categories, namely "Knowing Career, Potential Development, Policy Topics", etc. We hope to expand the career development imagination of new social people (what are the ways out of this system?), recognize and promote the value recognition and preparation of public services (integration of work and public welfare), and help you refine or reorganize your career skills (employment preparation). In addition, some course hours will explore public service related theories, management practices and current important topics, and also start to organize the "learning practice and professional interests" of each selected course student, with the purpose of preparing for the implementation of the "Administrative Practice (II)" sub-assembly plan. Because in the second half of this school, the teacher will use the opportunity to implement the program provided by the various groups of this class, government agencies and civil organizations, so that the students in the course can take office in the first week of the next school year and start to complete the program chosen during the first period. The content of these programs is expected to include "public fundraising planning, event planning or execution (for example: planning writing), news reporting or analysis (for example: large data analysis), organizational outreach or marketing (for example: micro-advertising), business disks or innovation (for example: creator thinking), new media application and innovation (for example: Youtuber), diplomatic license application services, district office service business, research and assessment business", etc. Participating in the above plan gives you the opportunity to implement your service concept, or enter different organizations to implement the program to effectively show that you can gain potential employment opportunities for yourself, or win a competitive experience for yourself. Of course, in this process, in addition to fulfilling your preparations through the above workshops and lectures, in the future, the "Administrative Institution (II)" will also allow each team to provide assistance from coach/mentor to gradually complete the tasks assigned by the organization through the joint methods of multiple people.
