Now, we generally view any fixed income instrument as one in which its value depends on the level of interest rates and/or the health of the underlying assets. The first part of this course is designed to provide a deeper understanding of the characteristics of fixed income securities and the management of interest rate risk and credit risk. The second part of this course focuses on fixed income securities and financial innovation. This course is also helpful for students preparing for the CFA exam.
