The purpose of the course is to cultivate students' cross-domain diversified learning and oral expression as core elements, and to build a balance between self-confidence and awareness.
The course design helps students to “establish self-affirmation and break habitual thinking” through the learning process, explore their own value, find learning meanings, touch learning, and establish good interactive relationships in cooperation with others; on the basis of rock-like professional knowledge, promote students’ cross-cultural cognitive abilities and international communication abilities.
In addition to the opportunity to participate in international professional practice, school exchanges and short-term travel, students who do not often go abroad can also integrate into career development and opportunities through the TED Business English expression course, contact and understand what is happening in the world, actively pay attention to learning, and read questions related to world economic development and industry trends.
This course has evolved to require students to spend substantial time on subjects like cultures, economics, environments, arts, and history. In these classes, our students learn how individuals, organizations, and nations act on their desires and concerns. They gain historical perspectives, critical thinking skills, cultural understandings that help them collaborate with people across the globe, as well as communication skills that enable them to listen, explain, and inspire. They learn that most human situations defy a single correct answer, that life itself is rarely, if ever, as clear as an elegant equation.
