More specifically, language philosophy at least explores such questions: What is meaning? What is truth? What is reference? How does meaning and reference connect? How is language communication possible?
In this course, we understand the above questions through Colin McGinn's commentary on ten classics in language philosophy, including Frege's 'Sense and Reference', Russell's 'On Denoting', etc., in order to have a basic understanding of language philosophy.
