《周易》所蘊藏的宇宙觀、人生觀、文化觀、哲學觀、科學觀，從遠古時期一直延續至今，仍在華人的社會和生活中發揮作用。本課程旨在介紹理解《周易》的基本知識，包括卦爻象的性質、爻位、爻例與解讀卦象的原理。學生在了解這些基礎知識後，將選講《周易》的幾個重要卦象，並講授繫辭傳中所蘊藏的周易哲學。這些閱讀經驗預期能成為學生理解華人文化極其重要的一部分，並奠定繼續深入中國思想的基礎

The outlook on the universe, life, culture, philosophy, and science contained in the "Book of Changes" has continued from ancient times to the present day and is still playing a role in Chinese society and life. This course aims to introduce the basic knowledge for understanding the "Book of Changes", including the nature, position, examples and principles of interpreting hexagrams and yarns. After students understand these basic knowledge, they will select several important hexagrams of the Zhouyi and teach the philosophy of the Zhouyi contained in the Biography of the Book of Changes. These reading experiences are expected to become an extremely important part of students' understanding of Chinese culture and lay the foundation for continuing to deepen their understanding of Chinese thought.
