『創作性戲劇』是一種即興的,非展示的,以程序進行為中心(process-centered)的一種戲劇形式。在其中,參與者在領導者的引導之下,去想像,實作(enact)並反應出人們的經驗,以人類的衝動(impulse)與能力(ability),表現出其生存世界的概念(perception of the world)以期使學習者瞭解之。創作性戲劇同時需要邏輯與本能的思考(logical and intuitive thinking),個人化的知識,並產生美感上的愉悅(aesthetiC pleasure)。儘管創作性戲劇在傳統上一直被認定屬於兒童及少年,其程序卻適用所有的年齡層。同時,該協會為此定義作了更進一步的解釋:創作性戲劇的程序就是動力(dynamic),領導者引導一組學習者,透過戲劇性的實作(dramatic enactment)去開拓、發展、表達與交流、觀念與感覺。在創作性戲劇中,一組學生以即興演出之動作與對話,發展出適宜的內容。採用戲劇的素材,係就經驗的範圍,產出形式與意義。"Creative Drama" is an immediacy, non-display, process-centered drama. In it, the participants, under the guidance of the leader, imagine, implement and reflect human experience, express their concept of the world with human impulse and ability in order to make the learners understand it. Creative dramas also require logical and intuitive thinking, personalized knowledge, and aesthetic pleasure. Although creative dramas have traditionally been considered to be children and teenagers, their procedures apply to all ages. At the same time, the association gave a further explanation of this definition: the program of creative drama is dynamic, and the leader guides a group of learners to develop, develop, express and communicate, concepts and feelings through dramatic practices. In the creative drama, a group of students develop appropriate content by performing action and dialogues in an instant. Using drama materials, it depends on the scope of experience and produces form and meaning.
