■ 課程概述
從古典的藝術菁華之研究分析，研究高古至近代水墨的發展，師其上者、融會當代，輔以個人創作精神的探尋，最終引導學生形塑出個人以水墨為出口的藝術創作之路。

■ 課程目標
一、使學生能深入認知傳統畫論之精髓，應用於藝術創作之基本內涵與文化素養。
二、作為學生藝術創作時對傳統繪畫和理論之基礎，讓學術科涵養得以均衡發展。
三、以傳統畫論書摘分析，並使學生落實到創作層面，達到實踐學養理論的基本能力。
四、研究高古至近代水墨的發展，師其上者、融會當代。
五、從古典的藝術菁華之研究分析，輔以個人創作精神的探尋，自然形塑出個人以水墨為出口的藝術創作之路。

■ 課程內涵
一、本課程以中國美術中之繪畫理論為取材，藉由各單元之畫論書摘分析，培養學生藝術創作時自我分析與檢閱的基本能力。
二、課程規劃的各單元以傳統書畫之基本要義為主，從古今不同題材出發，兼談畫論同時進行創作，讓同學回身檢討自我創作時的概念與涵養。
三、學期中三個單元各一次評圖檢閱，期末進行總評圖，將全學期所學彙整於一件作品之中，並繳交一份融合畫論閱讀與自我創作的心得的創作論述。

■ Course Overview
From the research and analysis of classical artistic essence, study the development of ink painting from ancient times to modern times, learn from their predecessors, integrate with contemporary times, supplemented by the exploration of personal creative spirit, and ultimately guide students to shape their own artistic creation path with ink painting as their outlet.

■ Course objectives
1. Enable students to have an in-depth understanding of the essence of traditional painting theory and the basic connotation and cultural literacy applied to artistic creation.
2. As the basis of traditional painting and theory when students create art, it allows for the balanced development of academic disciplines.
3. Analyze excerpts from traditional painting theory books and enable students to implement them at the creative level to achieve the basic ability of practicing learning and cultivating theory.
4. Study the development of ink painting from ancient times to modern times, learn from their predecessors, and integrate into the contemporary era.
5. From the research and analysis of classical artistic essence, supplemented by the exploration of personal creative spirit, a personal artistic creation path using ink as an outlet will naturally be shaped.

■ Course content
1. This course is based on the painting theory in Chinese art. Through the analysis of painting theory book excerpts in each unit, it cultivates students' basic abilities of self-analysis and review when creating art.
2. Each unit of the course plan focuses on the basic essence of traditional calligraphy and painting, starting from different themes of ancient and modern times, and discusses painting theory while creating, allowing students to review their concepts and cultivation when creating.
3. There will be a drawing review in each of the three units during the semester, and a general drawing review at the end of the semester. What has been learned throughout the semester will be integrated into one work, and a creative essay that combines the experience of reading painting theory and self-creation will be submitted.
