除了配偶及家人之外，居住環境可以說是老年人最為關心之晚年生活事項，本課程將講述與老年人居家環境相關之各項議題，包括老化過程與其對行動居住之影響，老年人與居家環境之互動，居住之基本概念，居住安排之抉擇，居家環境與老年照顧之關係，老年居家住宅之類型，居住環境之規劃與設計，老人機構之規劃及管理等。In addition to spouses and family members, the living environment can be said to be the most concerned thing for the elderly in their later years. This course will discuss various issues related to the elderly’s home environment, including the impact of the aging process and its movement and living, the interaction between the elderly and the home environment, the basic concept of living, the decision on living arrangements, the relationship between home environment and care for the elderly, the type of home residence of the elderly, the planning and design of the living environment, the planning and management of the elderly’s institutions, etc.
「老年居住環境」這門專題討論課程之主要目的在於探討與老年人居家環境安排方面有關之各項概念和議題。由於不論在已開發或發展中的國家社會裡，人口結構之高齡化已成為必然的社會現象，各國的老年人口比率呈現出逐漸增加之趨勢，對於回應此一社會議題之老人福利政策與措施亦受到更多的重視，因此在倡導老年人福利方面，遂漸漸出現一些與居住安養有關的需求和政策走向。台灣地區在這方面相關的探討約從二十年前才開始，故本課程希望藉由從西方先進國家對老人居住的文獻之瞭解為背景，來探討各種老年人居住安養的內涵，並討論在台灣地區對老人居住議題有興趣者，若未來在參與此一方面之策劃時應有何種瞭解，亦藉由實地參觀訪問；從各相關人員之處蒐集資料，期以獲得學理和實務應用上雙重的知識。
The main purpose of the "Enterprise Living Environment" discussion course is to explore various concepts and topics related to the arrangement of home environment for the elderly. Since the high population structure has become an inevitable social phenomenon in developed or developing national societies, the proportion of elderly population in various countries has shown a trend of gradual increase, and the elderly welfare policies and measures in response to this social issue have also received more attention. Therefore, in advocating the welfare of the elderly, some needs and policy trends related to residential safety have emerged. The relevant discussions in Taiwan in this area only started twenty years ago, so this course hopes to explore the connotation of various elderly people's living conditions through the understanding of the literature on elderly people from advanced Western countries as the background, and discuss them in Taiwan. If the region is interested in the elderly’s residence issues, if you have any understanding of what you should consider when participating in this aspect in the future, you can also visit it through local visits; collect information from the locations of relevant personnel in order to gain double knowledge in science and practical application.
