隨著全球化帶來經濟的快速發展，越來越多的國家脫離了低度發展的困境，追求提高生活品質，成為各國的主要目標。這門課程討論分生活品質的相關的研究成果。相關的議題如生活品質的議題生活品質的理論、生活品質的研究、跨國的比較、生活品質的改善政策、以及生活品質社會學研究的方向。本課程將透過廣泛地閱讀相關議題的文獻，以求能夠更具體掌握面生活品質研究的主要核心理論、概念與相關的研究成果。除了基本的文獻的閱讀與討論，本課程也配合學生的興趣，聚焦於特定的主題。

With the rapid economic development brought about by globalization, more and more countries have escaped the dilemma of low development and pursued improving the quality of life, which has become the main goal of each country. This course discusses research results related to quality of life. Related topics include quality of life issues, quality of life theory, quality of life research, cross-national comparisons, quality of life improvement policies, and the direction of sociological research on quality of life. This course will provide a more detailed understanding of the main core theories, concepts and related research results of quality of life research through extensive reading of literature on related topics. In addition to basic literature reading and discussion, this course also focuses on specific topics according to students' interests.
