本門課目標為介紹一些常用統計方法之理論以及實務應用。這些統計方法包含(1)迴歸分析、(2)廣義線性模式、(3)多變量分析、(4)類別資料分析及(5)可靠度分析。
本課程會針對學生將來在博士論文研究中所需要的數量方法，提供理論的推導與相關計算方法的介紹。藉由實際資料的分析過程，培養學生獨立思考與解決問題的能力。

The goal of this course is to introduce the theory and practical application of some commonly used statistical methods. These statistical methods include (1) regression analysis, (2) generalized linear model, (3) multivariate analysis, (4) categorical data analysis and (5) reliability analysis.
This course will provide theoretical derivation and introduction to relevant calculation methods for the quantitative methods that students will need in their future doctoral thesis research. Through the analysis process of actual data, students can develop their ability to think independently and solve problems.
