本課旨在協助學生從分析哲學的角度探討前現代中國哲學中的語言哲學與邏輯問題。討論內容包括：關聯思考模式與分析思考模式，古代中國哲學中的語句、信念及真理，儒家的正名思想與類比思考，莊子有關語言與實在關係的觀點，辯者與惠施的詭辭，公孫龍子的指涉理論、存有論及邏輯思考，後期墨家的邏輯思想 (侔式推論)，以及佛教中的語言哲學與邏輯問題。

This course aims to help students explore linguistic philosophy and logical issues in pre-modern Chinese philosophy from the perspective of analytical philosophy. Discussion topics include: relational thinking mode and analytic thinking mode, sentences, beliefs and truths in ancient Chinese philosophy, Confucian thinking of correcting names and analogical thinking, Zhuangzi's views on the relationship between language and reality, debaters and Hui Shi's quibbles, Gongsun Longzi's theory of reference, ontology and logical thinking, late Mohist logical thought (徔-style inference), and linguistic philosophy and logical issues in Buddhism.
