宇治十帖作為源氏物語的後續故事，不僅獲得眾多讀者的支持，在學者間也評價甚高，尤其針對人物心理的刻畫細緻被認為超越了以光源氏為核心的故事群，在文體描寫上更被知名的評論家讚為優雅深遠。宇治十帖的作者自古以來雖經學者的多方考究在後世仍引起爭議，但無論是出自源氏物語作者紫式部或是她的女兒大貳三位之手，接續源氏物語中光源氏死後，描述其後代子孫薰以及匂的宇治十帖，在評價上毫無疑問的，較之源氏物語以光源氏為主所發展出來的一連串描寫，更加典雅優美也更能體現日本平安時期貴族文化的思想性。本課程不僅希望藉由精讀宇治十帖來深入日本平安時代的文學觀與思想，同時希望藉由觀賞部份以本作改編發展出的影像作品，來激發學生的創作力，在閱讀與創作之間更深化理解與體悟。

As a follow-up story to The Tale of Genji, Uji Jutsu has not only won the support of many readers, but has also been highly praised by scholars. In particular, the meticulous depiction of the characters' psychology is considered to surpass the story group with Hikari Genji as the core. In terms of stylistic description, it has been praised by well-known critics as elegant and profound. Although the author of Uji Ten Posts has been studied by scholars in many ways since ancient times, it has still caused controversy in later generations. However, whether it was written by Murasaki Shikibu, the author of The Tale of Genji, or by her daughter Dai Ersan, it continued the story of the death of Hikari Genji in The Tale of Genji. There is no doubt that the descendants of the descendants Kaoru and the Uji Jutsu are more elegant and beautiful than the series of descriptions developed by the Genji Monogatari based on Hikaru Genji, and better reflect the ideological nature of the aristocratic culture of Japan's Heian period. This course not only hopes to gain an in-depth understanding of Japanese Heian period literary concepts and thoughts through the intensive reading of the Uji Ten Posts, but also hopes to stimulate students' creative power and deepen their understanding and appreciation between reading and creation by watching some of the video works adapted from this work.

《源氏物語》是必備（譯者不限），其他文獻資料將於第一堂課上說明。由於相關資料中文譯本稀少，會由授課教師斟酌補充。

"The Tale of Genji" is a must (the translator is not limited), and other literature materials will be explained in the first class. Since Chinese translations of relevant materials are scarce, they will be supplemented at the discretion of the instructor.
