老化是一個多面向的過程,也對生活帶來正面與負面的影響,這個影響橫跨生理、心理與社會互動三個領域。傳統的老年研究常將焦點放在生理與心理的領域,相對忽略了社會環境對老化過程,以及對高齡福祉(Well Being)的影響。本課程的教學將聚焦在老化與社會、家庭互動、社會角色、以及老化與照護等四個老化與社會互動的面向。為了讓修課學生能有系統的瞭解上述四個老化的社會面向,本課程的授課規劃將從生命週期的角度缺入,先探討不同生命階段的社會互動關係作為課程程的基礎,接著介紹社會結構對老化的研究理論;第三階段則以單元的方式探討高齡的家庭互動、社會角色與照護議題。
為求能有效地達到教學目標,本課程的授課方式除了教師的講授外,將按照不同主題安排觀賞影片後,進行深度討論與心得的撰寫,讓修課學生對於授課議題內容都有深刻的體會。
期待修習本課程的學生可以獲得以下四項素養與能力:
一、 瞭解高齡生活與社會關係變遷的議題與基本概念。
二、 瞭解社會結構對高齡生活的影響。
三、 瞭解高齡者在社會、家庭角色的變化與照護需求的預備與適應。
四、 獲得協助高齡者有效解決社會需求的認知與行動能力。
Aging is a multi-faceted process, and it also brings positive and negative effects on life, which transcends three areas of physiological, psychological and social interaction. Traditional elderly research often focuses on the physiological and psychological fields, which relatively ignores the impact of social environment on aging processes and on Well Being. The teaching of this course will focus on four aspects of aging and social interaction, including aging and social interaction, family interaction, social roles, and aging and care. In order to allow students to systematically understand the above four aging social aspects, the course's teaching plan will be absent from the perspective of the life cycle. First, we will explore the social interaction relations at different stages of life as the basis of the course, and then introduce the research theory of social structures on aging; the third stage will explore high-grade family interaction, social roles and care issues in a single way.
In order to effectively achieve teaching objectives, in addition to the teacher's lectures, the teaching method of this course will be arranged to view the video according to different topics, and then conduct in-depth discussions and writing experiences, so that the students in the course can have a profound lesson on the content of the teaching topic.
