甘肅敦煌自古是中原通往西域絲綢之路上的重鎮，歷代以來，經歷多元文化的融合，使得敦煌藝術無論是繪畫、彩塑、服飾等，都反映出中西文化交流的社會風貌。除了豐富的創造力和想像力外，敦煌藝術還包含了儒釋道三教合一的圖像，呈現了歷代的社會生活情狀，是中國古代的重要文化遺產。
本課程透過自編詳細教材講授，輔以Power Point 及影片解說，引導學生深入瞭解敦煌藝術及其文化的重要內涵，擴充人文領域學習面向，厚植學生藝術鑑賞修養，並啟發現代文化創意產業的開發靈感。Gansu Dunhuang has been a major town on the road from the Central Plains to the Western Regions since ancient times. Over the past, the integration of diverse cultures has enabled Dunhuang art to reflect the social style of cultural exchanges between China and the West, whether it is painting, color sculpture, clothing, etc. In addition to its rich creativity and imagination, Dunhuang art also contains images of the unity of Confucianism and Taoism, presenting the social life of the past, and is an important cultural heritage in ancient China.
This course is taught through self-edited detailed textbooks, and explains it with Power Point and the video, guiding students to deeply understand the important connotations of Dunhuang art and its culture, expand the learning aspect of the humanities, cultivate students' art appreciation and cultivation, and discover the development spirit of modern cultural creative industry.
