無論在群體社會或個人的生活當中,無論是有意識地追求,或跟隨習俗行禮如儀,宗教現象或影響都不斷地出現在你我生活的周遭。對大多數年輕的生命來說,宗教就像一個謎,時而出現在你我生命中,對你生活有種既親密又疏離的牽連。宗教是什麼?我需要宗教信仰認同嗎?宗教可以用理性來討論與認知嗎?
本課程從生命的靈性需求與關懷視野出發,課程目標在協助學生瞭解宗教對人類個人與社會發展的影響、宗教對生命歷程的詮釋與義意、以及台灣地區主要宗教之起源、內涵和影響,期待培養學生對宗教與生命關懷探索的興趣。最終目的期待協助學生在這多元文化的社會中,經由對宗教的瞭解與素養,可以選擇建立適當的生活目標與價值觀,並積極的在生活中實踐。
學生修完本課程後可以得到以下能力:
(一) 瞭解宗教的本質,與對人類個人生活與社會群體的影響;
(二) 瞭解台灣地區主要宗教的起源、發展與對台灣社會的影響;
(三) 瞭解台灣地區不同宗教儀式與實踐對生命的詮釋、關懷意涵;
(四) 具備對不同宗教與文化的欣賞與尊重;
(五) 具備建立適當生活目標、價值觀與實踐的能力。
Regardless of whether in the community or in the personal life, whether pursuing intentionally or following customs and practices, religious phenomena or influences appear constantly around your and my lives. For most years of life, religion is like a joke, which appears in your and my lives at once, and has a close and remote relationship for your life. What is religion? Do I need religious beliefs? Can religion be discussed and recognized with reason?
This course develops from the spiritual needs and relevant vision of life. The purpose of the course is to help students understand the impact of religion on the development of human beings, the interpretation and meaning of religion on the course of life, as well as the origin, connotation and influence of major religions in Taiwan. We look forward to cultivating students' interest in the exploration of religion and life. The ultimate goal is to help students in this multicultural society, through understanding and cultivation of religion, they can choose to establish appropriate life goals and value concepts, and actively implement them in life.
After completing this course, students can obtain the following abilities:
(I) Understand the nature of religion and its impact on human personal lives and social groups;
(II) Understand the origin, development and impact on Taiwanese society in Taiwan;
(III) Understand the comments and connotations of different religious rituals and practices on life in Taiwan;
(IV) Have appreciation and respect for different religions and cultures;
(V) Have the ability to establish appropriate life goals, value viewing and practice.
