教育目標 Course Target

The contemporary architect needs to resolve the architectural issue with urban complex context. Accordingly, in terns of the professions at present day, architects have increasingly been requested to be more qualified with urban background.
The course is aiming to help students(participants) build the abilities to draw the urban maps or regional maps with variety of information through "architectural representation methodology". Meanwhile, students(participants) would be trained to draw the maps by critical thinking and analytical conclusion.

本課程主要訓練對於複雜的資訊(都市訊息)如何分析整合並以視覺化的方式呈現出來。
內容包括對數據及資訊的思考、收集、和解讀,對於圖學上的呈現、繪製方法和技巧,以及後期傳達給閱讀者的整體排板、和視覺設計等等。
總體目標將幫助學生在"建築領域"的環境中有更好的邏輯分析、圖學表達、報告書製作的能力。

The contemporary architect needs to resolve the architectural issue with urban complex context. Accordingly, in terns of the professions at present day, architects have increasingly been requested to be more qualified with urban background.
The course is aiming to help students(participants) build the abilities to draw the urban maps or regional maps with variety of information through "architectural representation methodology". Meanwhile, students(participants) would be trained to draw the maps by critical thinking and analytical conclusion.

This course mainly trains how to analyze, integrate and present complex information (urban information) in a visual way.
The content includes the thinking, collection, and interpretation of data and information, graphic presentation, drawing methods and techniques, as well as the overall layout and visual design that are later conveyed to readers.
The overall goal will help students have better logical analysis, graphic expression, and report production abilities in the "architectural field" environment.
