This course is designed to prepare undergraduate students to familiar with the context and process of aging, and become competent in dealing with and assisting older persons through service practice-health care-social work professional dimensions. That is, to enable students to engage issues, problems and needs resolution of elders by applying relevant professional expertise and strategy in compliance with social welfare policies and social service programs.

由於距離本人上一次開這門課已經是20年前的事，因此在這個時間點上仍無法確定會使用哪些教科書，
目前約有四本較為適當之教科書可以選用，由於本人仍在積極備課當中，希望開學當天能夠決定。
另，除了課本之教材外，選修此門課的同學須有心理準備閱讀數篇中英文之期刊文章，較為詳細之參考文獻將會在第一天上課時發給大家。

Since it was 20 years ago since I last taught this course, it is still unclear at this point in time which textbooks will be used.
Currently, there are about four more appropriate textbooks to choose from. Since I am still actively preparing lessons, I hope to make a decision on the first day of school.
In addition, in addition to the textbook materials, students taking this course must be mentally prepared to read several journal articles in Chinese and English. More detailed references will be distributed to everyone on the first day of class.
