文化人類學為社會人類學的分支，特別著重於文化差異的解釋。文化差異的討論本身牽涉到文化與自然的界定、種族與殖民支配關係的歷史、以及人類學研究的方法等，本課程將從具體的人類學案例進行討論分析，並且深入一至兩個族群案例中進行討論。本課程主要分成三個主要方向：1.文化人類學簡介；2.以華人圈中的兩個重要少數民族為案例進行了解，並且以視覺人類學、醫療人類學等角度切入；3.教授文化人類學與研究方法、田野調查等。

Cultural anthropology is a branch of social anthropology that focuses particularly on the explanation of cultural differences. The discussion of cultural differences itself involves the definition of culture and nature, the history of the relationship between race and colonial dominance, and anthropological research methods. This course will discuss and analyze specific anthropological cases, and conduct in-depth discussions on one or two ethnic groups. This course is mainly divided into three main directions: 1. Introduction to cultural anthropology; 2. Taking two important ethnic minorities in the Chinese community as cases to understand and approach them from the perspectives of visual anthropology and medical anthropology; 3. Teaching cultural anthropology and research methods, fieldwork, etc.
