本課程之主要目的在介紹經濟之相關基礎觀念及探討經濟現象與問題，培養學生面對現今之社會經濟現象與問題，並對各種經濟問題及其解決之道得以充分了解。本課程主要分為兩大部分: 個體經濟與總體經濟。第一部分個體經濟之課程內容包含個人與市場、企業與市場、政府與經濟活動等三大主題。第二部份總體經濟主要研究國家、區域及社會等整體經濟表現，主要授課內容為國民所得之衡量、經濟成長、失業、物價及貨幣制度等基本觀念之介紹。

The main purpose of this course is to introduce basic concepts related to economics and explore economic phenomena and problems, to train students to face today's social and economic phenomena and problems, and to fully understand various economic problems and their solutions. This course is mainly divided into two parts: individual economy and overall economy. The first part of the course content of individual economy includes three major themes: individuals and markets, enterprises and markets, and government and economic activities. The second part, General Economy, mainly studies the overall economic performance of the country, region and society. The main teaching content is the introduction of basic concepts such as the measurement of national income, economic growth, unemployment, prices and monetary systems.

經濟學入門課程，課程涵蓋個體經濟與總體經濟學。旨在培養建立經濟思考方式，暸解經濟體系基本運作架構以及政策與經濟體系之的因果關係。

An introductory course in economics covering individual economics and general economics. It aims to cultivate the establishment of economic thinking methods and understand the basic operating structure of the economic system and the causal relationship between policies and the economic system.
