This course contains two online courses: "Introduction of Thermodynamics" and "Calculus applied!"
Introduction of Thermodynamics: introduce the basic idea of thermodynamics, with application on concrete examples. Contents: energy and power supply and demand, energy transfer, thermodynamic properties, conservation of mass and energy, second law of thermodynamics, power plants.
Calculus Applied: we discuss the applications of calculus on various disciplines in order to give students experiences on the applied mathematics. Contents: mathematical models to measure knowledge, price and demand, mathematical and medical imaging, income distributions, evolution of population models, predator-prey system, extinction, chaos and bifurcation, coexistence or exclusion.
