1.認識宋明儒學發展,掌握道德理論論述
2.明瞭宋明儒學流派,理解代表人物思想
3.分析理學基本命題,訓練批判性思考力
4.討論宋明倫理價值,培養道德實踐能力

課程內涵
1.以宋明六百年間宋明儒學發展為主要時代背景,介紹宋明儒者基於對生命、道德、個人、社會、國家、世界的問題意識,而關切的新議題,提出的新方法。
2.以宋明儒者關切的新議題為導向,導讀各個議題的代表人物重要文獻,分別各個流派代表人物的學思特徵,闡述各個流派的道德理論及宋明儒的新詮釋。
3.對比當代中外學者對於理學作為宋明儒學內容的相關研究,以思辨方式學習這些研究映射出宋明儒學文獻在當代的新詮釋及其跨界域、跨文化傳播現象。
4.聚焦於宋明儒學代表文獻有關倫理價值的載述,結合當代新詮釋,以分題報告與共同討論的多向溝通模式,深化倫理價值的認識,啟發道德生命的踐行。

Course objectives
1. Understand the development of Confucianism in the Song and Ming Dynasties and master the discussion of moral theory
2. Understand the Confucian schools of Song and Ming dynasties and understand the thoughts of representative figures
3. Analyze basic propositions of Neo-Confucianism and train critical thinking skills
4. Discuss the ethical values ​​of Song and Ming Dynasties and cultivate moral practice ability

Course content
1. Taking the development of Confucianism in the Song and Ming Dynasties during the six hundred years of the Song and Ming Dynasties as the main historical background, introduce the new issues and new methods proposed by Confucian scholars in the Song and Ming Dynasties based on their awareness of life, morality, individuals, society, country, and the world.
2. Guided by the new issues of concern to Confucian scholars in the Song and Ming Dynasties, this article introduces important documents of representatives of each issue, distinguishes the ideological characteristics of representatives of each school, and expounds the moral theories of each school and the new interpretations of Confucianism in the Song and Ming Dynasties.
3. Compare contemporary Chinese and foreign scholars’ research on Neo-Confucianism as the content of Song and Ming Confucianism, and study these studies in a speculative way to reflect the contemporary new interpretation of Song and Ming Confucian literature and its cross-border and cross-cultural communication phenomena.
4. Focus on the description of ethical values ​​in representative Confucian literature of the Song and Ming dynasties, combined with contemporary new interpretations, and use a multi-directional communication model of sub-topic reports and joint discussions to deepen the understanding of ethical values ​​and inspire the practice of moral life.
