唐、宋時期的詩歌，蓬勃發展，繁富多樣，是古典詩歌極為重要的階段。同一時期，禪宗也逐漸成為獨具特色的思想體系，眾家爭鳴，與佛禪相關的活動，成為詩人生活中不可少的一部分。本課程一方面閱讀詩僧的作品，如寒山、皎然等；一方面也選讀唐宋重要詩人的禪詩，如王維、白居易、蘇軾等。以此認識唐宋詩歌與禪學的深刻關係，並藉此培養詩性人生與禪宗智慧。

Poetry in the Tang and Song Dynasties flourished, became rich and diverse, and was an extremely important stage for classical poetry. During the same period, Zen Buddhism gradually became a unique ideological system, with many schools of thought contending, and activities related to Buddhism and Zen became an indispensable part of the poet's life. On the one hand, this course reads the works of poet monks, such as Han Shan, Jiao Ran, etc.; on the other hand, it also reads Zen poems by important poets of the Tang and Song Dynasties, such as Wang Wei, Bai Juyi, Su Shi, etc. Through this, we can understand the profound relationship between Tang and Song poetry and Zen, and cultivate poetic life and Zen wisdom.
