■課程目標 (Course Objectives)
期中考前—17世紀至1895年日治時期以前台灣美術史講授與議題討論
期中考後—日治時期（1895-1945年）台灣美術史講授與議題討論，以及戰後台灣現當代美術發展概論
讓學生階段性完成對台灣美術史個時期發展與代表性藝術家及作品的了解與認識。
■課程內涵—藉由課程深入淺出的介紹台灣多元文化與美術發展特色，希望讓學生能了解台灣各時期美術發展的脈絡與變遷，尋求與土地認同歸依的體認及與世界接軌的基點，並自主性思考研究台灣美術史根植於自己土地、人民及歷史的建構。

■Course Objectives
Before the mid-term exam - Lectures and topic discussions on Taiwanese art history from the 17th century to the Japanese colonial period in 1895
After the mid-term exam - Lectures and topic discussions on the history of Taiwanese art during the Japanese colonial period (1895-1945), as well as an introduction to the development of modern and contemporary art in postwar Taiwan
Allow students to complete their understanding of the development of Taiwan's art history and representative artists and works in stages.
■Course content - Through the course's in-depth and simple introduction to the characteristics of Taiwan's multiculturalism and art development, we hope that students can understand the context and changes of Taiwan's art development in various periods, seek to identify with the land and the basis for integration with the world, and independently think and study the construction of Taiwan's art history rooted in their own land, people and history.

(2)漢人移民與清代的台灣藝術
(3)日治時代的台灣藝術
(4)二次大戰後的台灣藝術
(5)現代主義的引進
(6)八0年代的鄉土運動辯論
(7)美術館與畫廊時代的來臨─八0年代以後的台灣藝術

The discussion in this course mainly includes:
(1) Prehistoric times and aboriginal culture
(2) Han immigrants and Taiwanese art in the Qing Dynasty
(3) Taiwanese art during the Japanese colonial period
(4)Taiwanese art after World War II
(5)The introduction of modernism
(6) The rural movement debate in the 1980s
(7) The advent of the era of art museums and galleries - Taiwanese art after the 1980s
