音樂與劇場的關係密不可分，不同文化系統的表演藝術、卻幾乎相同的都在起源階段緊密結合歌舞表現。時至今日，表演藝術最時興的趨勢更在跨類、跨領域方面展現極高能量，音樂劇場發展成為類型譜表上的重要指標。透過這門課讓學生了解各類以音樂為表現主體的劇場形式，探究其理論基礎與發展背景，旁觸劇場音樂設計的美學概念。此外，更透過實際參訪業內進行中的相關製作，了解音樂劇場實務現況，拓展學生對音樂劇、歌劇、劇場音樂之延伸認知。Music and drama are closely related. The performance art and almost the same in different cultural systems are closely combined with singing and dancing performances at the origin stage. To this day, the most exciting trend of performing art has shown great energy across categories and fields, and music drama scenes have developed into an important indicator on type specs. Through this course, students can understand various drama forms that express the subject with music, explore their theoretical basis and development background, and touch the aesthetic concepts of drama music design. In addition, through relevant productions conducted in the actual visit, we can understand the current situation of music dramas and expand students' extended knowledge of music dramas, songs and drama music.
