本課程的目的在提供非景觀背景之碩專班學生認識景觀領域中，景觀設計、景觀規劃二大核心工作之概念建立與基本操作練習。
課程內容分為二大部分：
1. 景觀設計概論：包含景觀元素分析、景觀空間分析、景觀設計理論等內容介紹。
2. 景觀規劃概論：包含規劃程序、規劃理論、使用者分析、基地分析，實質計畫等內容介紹，並以Geodesign的操作方式讓同學實際練習規劃的程序。

The purpose of this course is to provide master's degree students with non-landscape backgrounds with an understanding of the concept establishment and basic operational exercises of the two core tasks of landscape design and landscape planning in the field of landscape.
The course content is divided into two parts:
1. Introduction to landscape design: includes introduction to landscape element analysis, landscape space analysis, landscape design theory, etc.
2. Introduction to Landscape Planning: It includes an introduction to planning procedures, planning theory, user analysis, site analysis, actual planning, etc., and allows students to practice planning procedures using Geodesign’s operating methods.

本課程乃大一新生第一學期必修之課，屬於景觀專業學習之入門介紹。全課程分為四階段如下：

〈一〉景觀定義與景觀元素解讀。
〈二〉景觀專業介紹。
〈三〉國內外景觀教育。
〈四〉景觀設計與景觀規劃。

This course is a required course for freshmen in the first semester and is an introductory introduction to landscape majors. The whole course is divided into four stages as follows:

<1> Landscape definition and interpretation of landscape elements.
<2> Introduction to landscape profession.
<3> Landscape education at home and abroad.
<4> Landscape design and landscape planning.
