本課程的目的在提供非景觀背景之碩專班學生認識景觀領域中，景觀設計、景觀規劃二大核心工作之概念建立與基本操作練習。
課程內容分為二大部分：
1. 景觀設計概論：包含景觀元素分析、景觀空間分析、景觀設計理論等內容介紹。
2. 景觀規劃概論：包含規劃程序、規劃理論、使用者分析、基地分析，實質計畫等內容介紹，並以Geodesign的操作方式讓同學實際練習規劃的程序。The purpose of this course is to provide a professional course with a conceptual establishment and basic operation practice of landscape design and landscape planning in the field of landscape recognition for students with non-landscape backgrounds.
The course content is divided into two parts:
1. Overview of landscape design: including landscape element analysis, landscape space analysis, landscape design theory and other content introduction.
2. Landscape planning overview: Including planning procedures, planning theory, user analysis, base analysis, quality planning and other content introductions, and allows students to practice planning in an actual way through Geodesign's operation.
本課程乃大一新生第一學期必修之課，屬於景觀專業學習之入門介紹。全課程分為四階段如下：
〈一〉景觀定義與景觀元素解讀。
〈二〉景觀專業介紹。
〈三〉國內外景觀教育。
〈四〉景觀設計與景觀規劃。
This course is a compulsory course for freshmen in their first year of study and is an introduction to the entrance to landscape professional learning. The entire course is divided into four stages as follows:
〈1〉Scenery definition and interpretation of landscape elements.
〈2〉 Introduction to landscape professionals.
〈II〉 Domestic and domestic and external landscape education.
〈4〉Scenery design and landscape planning.
