Art be in Space (I)

教育目標 Course Target

本課程上學期部分結合了理論、案例研究以及實務創作。以時間軸作為主結構,由60年代低限藝術發展與觀念起始,接續當代藝術在裝置與空間上的發展,轉至公共藝術與塗鴉。搭配此三個主題,分別帶入相關的重要案例,讓學生從理論與實例的對照討論中對於藝術介入空間議題有更深入的認知,並從課程範圍中進一步發展個人專題研究。另一方面,課程將學生分為小組,帶領學生實際地進到空間中去進行創作,透過小組腦力激盪,並提出想法與其他組別及老師交互討論,進行觀念與技術的在實務操作上的發展,最終於學期末時發表小組創作。透過此課程紮實多元的安排,希望學生能夠更加多元的認識當代藝術創作中藝術與空間的關係及發展的可能。

The first semester portion of this course combines theory, case studies, and practical creations. Using the timeline as the main structure, it starts with the development and concepts of low-end art in the 1960s, continues with the development of contemporary art in installations and space, and then moves on to public art and graffiti. In conjunction with these three themes, relevant important cases are introduced respectively, allowing students to have a deeper understanding of the space issues of art intervention through comparative discussions of theory and examples, and to further develop personal research within the scope of the course. On the other hand, the course divides students into groups and leads students to actually enter the space to create. Through group brainstorming, they propose ideas for interactive discussions with other groups and teachers, develop concepts and techniques in practical operations, and finally publish the group creations at the end of the semester. Through the solid and diverse arrangement of this course, we hope that students can have a more diverse understanding of the relationship between art and space in contemporary art creation and the development possibilities.
