政策評估的主要目的，就是透過使用各式政策規劃與評估「技術」，將政策理念、目標、期望與執行做法，成功的轉變成為具體可行的實際行為。而評估的目的，則是檢驗政策目標與實質效果的差異，以有效提供未來政策維繫、修正、或終結的參考。本課程之目的，在於以研討的方式，將分析的理論觀點、與技術的應用，以師生對話的方式，給予基礎的介紹。

The main purpose of policy evaluation is to successfully transform policy concepts, goals, expectations and implementation practices into specific and feasible actual behavior through the use of various policy planning and evaluation "technology". The purpose of evaluation is to examine the difference between policy objectives and actual results to effectively provide future policy maintenance, corrections, or final references. The purpose of this course is to provide a basic introduction to the theoretical perspectives, technical applications of the analytical through discussion.
