Course Description

Basic concepts of advanced English course teaching:

1. Learning language is the basis for improving language learning. Listen first and then read, and progress step by step

2. The purpose of learning English in the Department of Management College of Education is to improve communication skills, strengthen students' career competition, and open up opportunities for future career development. Therefore, this course also focuses on strengthening students' communication skills as the top priority.

3. Learning language should be lifelike. Learning English to learn English should not only be a lesson. It should not only be memorizing single-character grammar, but also building trees and forests to practice.

Based on the above concept, this course has the following special standards:

1. This course teaches students the correct way of thinking. Teaching students "learning how to learn" to change students' previous "learning English" is equivalent to "memorizing single-character grammar", and pursuing long-term learning results rather than improving their scores in short-term exams.

2. The textbooks in this course are mainly based on news, current affairs, life, food, clothing, housing and transportation, and grammar and management (conference) and other professional content.

3. This course strongly requires students to actively participate and interact continuously during the course, and encourage students to make continuous progress through trial errors.
