Seminar: Chinese Philosophy from a Perspective of Analytic
教育目標 Course Target
這是一門以分析方法和比較角度來探討中國哲學問題的課目。其目的在訓練同學使用分析哲學的方法 (包括邏輯分析、語言概念分析及思想實驗等方法),以處理中國哲學的問題。
透過中西哲學的比較研究,同學可更深入理解中西兩大哲學傳統之特性及異同,從而拓寬其哲學視野,有助同學運用西方哲學的方法去分析中國哲學的問題,及發掘中國哲學思想之深層意義。
This is a course that uses analytical methods and comparative perspectives to explore issues in Chinese philosophy. Its purpose is to train students to use analytical philosophy methods (including logical analysis, language concept analysis, thought experiments, etc.) to deal with issues in Chinese philosophy.
Through the comparative study of Chinese and Western philosophy, students can gain a deeper understanding of the characteristics, similarities and differences between the two major philosophical traditions, China and the West, thereby broadening their philosophical horizons. This will help students use Western philosophical methods to analyze issues in Chinese philosophy and discover the deeper meaning of Chinese philosophical thoughts.
