本課程將分別探討不同種類的古代文物，涵蓋中國以及西方的文物，首先瞭解文物所承載的歷史意義，包括其產生的環境以及在社會中的功能。其次將進一步學習文物本身的特性，包括其類別、材料、製作的工具、技術以及技巧。最後將涉獵文物的研究方法，包括年代、製作地、創作者的鑑定，將牽涉科學的方式以及傳統風格的鑑定法。本課程希望能帶給同學古代文物的基本概念，以及文物與歷史的關係。

This course will explore different types of ancient cultural relics, covering Chinese and Western cultural relics. First, understand the historical significance of cultural relics, including the environment in which they were produced and their functions in society. Secondly, you will further learn the characteristics of the cultural relics themselves, including their categories, materials, production tools, techniques and techniques. Finally, we will cover the research methods of cultural relics, including the identification of age, place of production, and creator, and will involve scientific methods and traditional style identification methods. This course hopes to provide students with the basic concepts of ancient cultural relics and the relationship between cultural relics and history.
