課程概述 Course Description
This course is designed to enhance both oral and written skills in English while exploring different cultures that are portrayed in films. Fourteen films are used in this course. Some films are watched independently while others are viewed in class. Each film is used as a starting point to iniate a larger discourse around race relations and cultural themes.
Grammar exercises are combined with oral discussion of cultural topics and composition. Writing workshops for each composition are also held to improve students’ writing techniques.
