本課程為跨領域課程，以日本次動漫文化為主要文本，由文化、科技、經濟、創作四個面向探討「御宅學」，透過本課程，修習者將可以多元的視界，交叉瞭解宅文化的精神。本次課程強調與動漫及其延伸產業的關連性，以本校參與製作之動畫電影「重甲機神 Baryon」為基礎，由學生提出各項延伸企劃，並且由授課老師、外聘業師以及本校「達文西計畫」合作，共同指導學生實作出原型產品。

This course is an interdisciplinary course. It uses Japanese sub-anime culture as the main text and explores "otaku studies" from four aspects: culture, technology, economy, and creation. Through this course, practitioners will be able to understand the spirit of otaku culture from multiple perspectives. This course emphasizes the connection with animation and its extended industries. It is based on the animated film "Baryon" that the school participated in the production of. Students propose various extension plans, and teachers, external industry experts and the school's "Da Vinci Project" cooperate to guide students to implement prototype products.
