教育目標 Course Target

食物是生活中最平常不過的事物,但食物的背後有許多社會學的概念與實作:從農場到餐桌,這趟食物之旅有太多可以討論的社會學議題。以食物做為一個媒介,我們可以深入探究糧食生產與消費的種種社會現象、農糧體系的轉變、農業與生態環境的關係、農業活動與人類社區的連結等課題。這門課著重於理解食農系統與環境之間的關係,還有其中的社會面向。

Definite version:
Food is the most common thing in life, but behind it is many social concepts and practices: from farm to dining table, there are so many social issues to discuss on this food journey. Using food as a medium, we can in-depth study on the various social phenomena of food production and consumption, the transformation of agricultural systems, the relationship between agriculture and ecological environment, the link between agricultural activities and human communities, etc. This course focuses on understanding the relationship between the food and agriculture system and the environment, as well as the social aspects.
