After going through the series of courses, students will have a general understanding of the environmental issues of the two countries, the impact of palm oil to the world, and the problems faced in realizing the concept of sustainable development. They would get to know the eco-conforming and earth-protection policies, environmental monitoring and early warning tools used by environmental science and engineering experts, and then further discuss about the environmental issues created by enterprises and consumers, together with the contradiction and conflicts existing in the ecosystem. They would help students to apply the idea of sustainable development to the overall solution on sustainable issues in the three aspects of the environment, society and economy that they are absolutely helpful in cultivating relevant personnel in Taiwan and Malaysia.
