教育目標 Course Target
本課程探索數位媒材在造型設計創作、三維自由曲面及其它景觀裝置藝術等應用、表現與技巧原則,以3D模型軟體 (Rhinoceros 和3ds max)為訓練核心,自入門操作、簡易造型、進階造型等,並涵蓋Computer Aided Design(電腦輔助設計)、Parametric Generation (參數生成)、Digital Fabrication(數位製造)等重要當代數位資訊概念。
課程重點包括對數位工具的整體性了解,掌握數位思考(Computational Thinking)與類比思考模式的概念差異,訓練數位工具技術,廣泛涉獵當代數位建模相關發展,進一步加強學生對數位造型與表現的深入認識。
This course explores the application, performance and technical principles of digital media in modeling design creation, three-dimensional free-form surface and other landscape installation art. It uses 3D model software (Rhinoceros and 3ds max) as the core of training, including entry-level operations, simple modeling, advanced modeling, etc., and covers important contemporary digital information concepts such as Computer Aided Design, Parametric Generation, and Digital Fabrication.
The focus of the course includes an overall understanding of digital tools, mastering the conceptual differences between computational thinking and analogical thinking modes, training in digital tool technology, and extensive coverage of contemporary digital modeling-related developments to further enhance students' in-depth understanding of digital modeling and expression.

3D模擬聽起來很公式化也很無趣,畢竟去模仿已經存在的東西需要的多半是技術層面的功夫,少有設計者該有的巧思與創意;但是若能把設計創作作品視覺化,或者將ㄧ首很有意境的詩視覺化,需要的就不只是對文字的理解力,更要有豐富的視覺思考、空間轉換及想像的能力。景觀模擬不是只有在課堂上用電腦才會發生的事情,它存在於我們每日的生活中,只要你肯用心去體會它。
課程目標 Course Objectives
完成這門課後,學生將能
1.熟練3ds max基本建模指令。
2.使用3ds max進階建模與編修指令。
3.呈現與模擬個人設計作品。
4.製作動畫。
5.操作競圖流程。
Course Overview Course Description
3D simulation sounds very formulaic and boring. After all, imitating something that already exists requires mostly technical efforts, and rarely the ingenuity and creativity that designers should have. However, if you can visualize a design creation, or visualize a very artistic poem, you need not only the understanding of words, but also rich visual thinking, spatial transformation and imagination capabilities. Landscape simulation is not something that only happens when using computers in the classroom. It exists in our daily lives, as long as you are willing to experience it with your heart.

1. Proficient in basic modeling instructions of 3ds max.
2. Use 3ds max advanced modeling and editing instructions.
3. Present and simulate personal design works.
4. Make animations.
5. Operate the image competition process.
