景觀工程的課程目標主要是教導學生，如何將景觀設計課程所學之設計構想、基本設計等內容，透過一貫的程序，成為實際的工程實績。包含：
1.結構形式的了解，增加同學進行細部設施設計時之能力，及多樣化創意設計發展之可能。
2.敷地工程，增加同學設計時能落實於實體空間之能力，包含對於地形的認識、調整的方法及可能衍生的相關問題。
3.排水設計，加強同學對排水設計在環境設計上重要性的認知，並培養基本排水設計之能力。
4.工程實務的了解，包含施工圖的繪製、施工規範的編列、工程預算的編列、工程發包、工程施工及施工品質控管流程，到工程驗收及移交使用。使學生了解景觀工程整體流程，並學習所需之技能。

The main goal of the landscape engineering course is to teach students how to turn the design concepts, basic designs, etc. learned in the landscape design course into actual project results through consistent procedures. Include:
1. The understanding of structural forms will increase students' ability to design detailed facilities and the possibility of diversified creative design development.
2. The ground-laying project will increase students' ability to implement the design in the physical space, including understanding of the terrain, adjustment methods and related problems that may arise.
3. Drainage design: enhance students’ understanding of the importance of drainage design in environmental design, and cultivate basic drainage design abilities.
4. Understanding of engineering practices, including the drawing of construction drawings, the preparation of construction specifications, the preparation of project budgets, project contracting, project construction and construction quality control processes, to project acceptance and handover. To enable students to understand the overall process of landscape engineering and learn the required skills.
