透過與手工藝匠師學習傳統工藝技術與器物的製造知識，在學習過程中探索隱藏於老器物製造過程中的造物智慧，以親手製作的方式來獲取訊息。研究過程中將眾多細瑣的製造訊息以圖文製作成影像紀錄，並以形狀、材料、方法三個層次解離，藉此更清楚地審視其中的智慧。在基於擁有這些智慧做為創作要素後，嘗試進行新的設計應用可能。

Learn traditional craft techniques and utensil manufacturing knowledge with craftsmen, explore the wisdom of creation hidden in the manufacturing process of old utensils during the learning process, and obtain information through hand-made methods. During the research process, a lot of detailed manufacturing information was recorded in pictures and texts, and was dissociated into three levels: shape, material, and method, so as to more clearly examine the wisdom involved. After using these wisdoms as creative elements, try new design application possibilities.

透過向民間手藝匠師以親手製作的方式，建構對材料與製作的基礎，再從該傳統手藝既有的認知中，推理出諸多變異的可能，經過大量實驗後，探索出個人特有的發現與觀點，最終嘗試予以適切的應用。

Through the hands-on approach of folk craftsmen, I build a foundation for materials and production, and then deduce the possibility of many variations from the existing knowledge of this traditional craft. After a large number of experiments, I explore my unique discoveries and opinions, and finally try to apply them appropriately.
