創作不能只靠靈感爆發，也不是作者的任意演繹。所有的創作，都必須順應其本性，處理相關客觀規律。因此，我們總在一種限制重重，因此也更為複雜、艱難的狀況之下，因應規律，演繹概念，建立架構，處理問題，發展設計。這才是建築創作的「真實」。

與其他工程不同，建築必須透過形式，創造體驗，有意識的組織感受與認知。與其他藝術相異，建築必須考慮實用與公共課題，還必須與多種部門協調，操作極度複雜的技術手段。因此，建築創作的主要挑戰，在於如何自覺的也有系統的跟多種課題對話，演繹理念，完成設計。

Creation cannot rely solely on an explosion of inspiration, nor is it an arbitrary interpretation by the author. All creations must comply with their nature and deal with relevant objective laws. Therefore, we are always in a situation with many restrictions and therefore more complex and difficult situations, in response to laws, deducing concepts, establishing structures, solving problems, and developing designs. This is the "reality" of architectural creation.

Unlike other projects, architecture must create experiences through form and consciously organize feelings and cognitions. Unlike other arts, architecture must consider practical and public issues, coordinate with multiple departments, and operate extremely complex technical means. Therefore, the main challenge in architectural creation lies in how to consciously and systematically dialogue with various topics, interpret concepts, and complete designs.
