The Labor Relations and Labor Problems

教育目標 Course Target

本課程主要目的在瞭解近代資本主義體系運作之下的勞工問題、勞資關係與制度、勞動法制變革,尤其針對勞動者面臨的就業處境,包括勞動條件、職業災害、勞資爭議、失業、就業歧視、工作平等等,加以探討。並對外籍勞動者、青年、中高齡者及身心障礙者的職場環境進行了解。期能充實社會工作者在勞動領域所需具備的相關服務與知能。

The main purpose of this course is to understand labor issues, labor relations and systems, and labor legal reforms under the operation of the modern capitalist system, especially to explore the employment situations faced by workers, including labor conditions, occupational disasters, labor disputes, unemployment, employment discrimination, work equality, etc. And understand the workplace environment for foreign workers, young people, middle-aged and elderly people, and people with disabilities. It is expected to enrich the relevant services and knowledge that social workers need in the labor field.

課程概述 Course Description

本課程主要目的在引導未來的社會工作者瞭解近代資本主義體系運作之下的勞工問題、勞資關係與制度變革,以及社會工作者在勞動領域所需具備的相關服務與知能。尤其針對特殊勞動者的就業議題及弱勢勞動者面臨的就業處境,包括職業災害受傷者、外籍勞動移民、青年勞動者以及就業歧視等進行討論,拉大社會工作系學生學理與實務的視框與思維,裝備社會工作者在勞動場域就業的機會。本課程也進一步檢視社會工作者的勞動處境與特殊勞動需求,透過自我探索與置身現實世界的反覆檢視,做好身心與能力準備。

The main purpose of this course is to guide future social workers to understand labor issues, labor relations and institutional changes under the operation of the modern capitalist system, as well as the related services and knowledge that social workers need in the labor field. In particular, we will discuss the employment issues of special workers and the employment situations faced by disadvantaged workers, including those injured in occupational disasters, foreign labor immigrants, young workers, and employment discrimination, to broaden the academic and practical perspectives and thinking of social work students, and to equip social workers with employment opportunities in the labor field. This course also further examines the labor situation and special labor needs of social workers, and through self-exploration and repeated examination in the real world, prepares the body, mind, and abilities.
