1、介紹社會工作基礎理論與方法，目的在使同學培養洞察力、培養剖析診斷人與社會問題的能力，及解決問題能力。
2、介紹社會工作發展歷史，使修課者瞭解社會工作的願景與價值，能為社會工作在社會中的角色／任務／功能，做恰宜的定位與反省。
3、此課程對修課學生培養表達能力、思辯能力、整合能力、自我學習能力、社會關懷能力等面向上有一定的助益。
「社會工作概論」是學習社會工作知識的基礎課程，這門課亦是社會工作初學者的學習指南，可協助修課者認識社會工作基礎理論與方法、瞭解社會工作願景與價值、培養洞察力、培養剖析診斷人與社會問題的能力，及解決問題能力。基於此，本課程規劃了社會工作歷史發展、社會工作基本概念、社會工作理論、社會工作專業方法、社會工作倫理等5大內容，以助落實上揭教學目標。
一般教學課程皆會以認知、情意與實作當做是課程目標，本課程亦不例外，惟因修課者皆為大一新生，是故實作內容會較少，課程進行方式以教師講授為主，並視學生學習狀況補充實務工作經驗分享或機構參訪。期待透過這門課的學習，協助學生掌握和理解社會工作知識／實踐梗概，並能做為未來社會工作相關課程學習目標與方向設定時的參酌基礎。
1. Introduce basic theories and methods of social work, with the purpose of enabling students to cultivate insight, the ability to analyze and analyze and solve problems, and the ability to solve problems.
2. Introduce the history of social work development, so that students can understand the willingness and value of social work, and be able to position and reflect on the role/task/function of social work in society.
3. This course will be of certain benefit to the students in cultivating expression skills, thinking skills, integration skills, self-learning skills, and social responsibilities.
"Social Work Overview" is a basic course for learning social work knowledge. This course is also a learning guide for beginners in social work. It can help students understand the basic theories and methods of social work, understand the social work landscape and value, cultivate insight, cultivate the ability to analyze and diagnose people and social problems, and solve problems. Based on this, this course plans five major contents, including the historical development of social work, basic concepts of social work, social work theory, professional methods of social work, and social work ethics, to help implement teaching goals.
Generally, teaching courses are based on knowledge, sentiment and practice. This course is no exception. However, because all students are freshmen, the content of the work will be less. The courses are mainly taught by teachers, and the students' learning status will be supplemented with experience sharing or institutional visits. We look forward to helping students master and understand social work knowledge/reflection through learning in this course, and be able to serve as a basis for setting goals and directions for future social work-related course learning.
什麼是社會工作？這是所有社會工作實務工作者、學習者、乃至教育者的不斷追問。在大學第一年裡，我們將要針對這個問題，進行概論性的介紹。它主要包括社會工作的意義與緣起、社會工作專業化的歷程、社會工作專業所涉及的價值與倫理、社會工作主要的服務方法、以及針對不同人口群的實務處遇方法等內容。透過這些內容的引介，我們期望可以引發社會工作新生的熱忱與興趣、培養同學由社會工作角度關切社會問題的能力與態度，以便為日後的學習作好初步的準備。
What is social work? This is the constant pursuit of all social work practical workers, learners, and even educators. In our first year of college, we will give a general introduction to this problem. It mainly includes the meaning and development of social work, the process of professionalization of social work, the value and ethics involved in social work, the main service methods of social work, and the practical encounter methods for different population groups. Through the introduction of these contents, we hope to attract the enthusiasm and interest of new students in social work and cultivate the ability and attitude of students to pay attention to social problems from the perspective of social work, so as to make preliminary preparations for future learning.
