食物是生活中最平常不過的事物,但食物的背後有許多社會學的概念與實作:從農場到餐桌,這趟食物之旅有太多可以討論的社會學議題。以食物做為一個媒介,我們可以深入探究糧食生產與消費的種種社會現象、農糧體系的轉變、農業與生態環境的關係、農業活動與人類社區的連結等課題。這門課著重於理解食農系統與環境之間的關係,還有其中的社會面向。
Tentative version:
Food is the most common thing in life, but there are many sociological concepts and practices behind food: from farm to table, there are too many sociological issues that can be discussed on this food journey. Using food as a medium, we can delve into various social phenomena of food production and consumption, the transformation of the agricultural and food system, the relationship between agriculture and the ecological environment, and the connection between agricultural activities and human communities. This course focuses on understanding the relationship between agro-food systems and the environment, as well as the social aspects of this.
