Food is the most common thing in life, but behind it is many social concepts and practices: from farm to dining table, there are so many social issues to discuss on this food journey. Using food as a medium, we can in-depth study on the various social phenomena of food production and consumption, the transformation of agricultural systems, the relationship between agriculture and ecological environment, the link between agricultural activities and human communities, etc. This course focuses on understanding the relationship between the food and agriculture system and the environment, as well as the social aspects.
