教育目標 Course Target

西方教育社會學的學門化源自西方社會自身的文化傳統和發展脈絡,而近現
代中國則以其面對世界局勢巨變的危機而有自身的教育問題。因此,我們對教育
社會學的理解與研究就須關注文化現代化的發展脈絡,既要留意西方理論中的普
遍性問題,也要注意自身發展的特殊性。這門課從近現代化過程中的民族與文化
脈絡導入當代教育社會學的問題意識和議題。
課程首先概略介紹教育社會學學科化的西方脈絡,第二部份則轉向中國近代
以來追求救亡圖存的教育思想及體制之歷史問題。由於近代中國歷史與世界史的
複雜纏繞,對台灣而言,並未自外於這個歷史,因此課程的第三部份著重在日本
殖民教育到戰後台灣教育的發展,以及當代最受關注的幾個重要爭論。從這些爭
論為起點,反思具有重要意義和敏感的卻常被忽視的現代性問題。
為了將教育議題放在重新認識台灣的立場來深化討論,本課程嘗試從兩岸歷
史斷裂的微觀與宏觀視角來增加理解和感受性。因此,本課程選讀的材料既包括
知識份子在特定歷史時期的主體經驗及教育理念,也涉及在冷戰和內戰的脈絡下

The course first briefly introduces the Western context of the disciplinaryization of educational sociology, and the second part turns to modern China.
The historical issues of educational ideas and systems that have pursued salvation and survival since then. Due to the differences between modern Chinese history and world history
Complex and entangled, Taiwan is not outside this history, so the third part of the course focuses on Japan
The development of education from colonial education to post-war Taiwan, as well as several important contemporary debates that attract the most attention. From these struggles

In order to deepen the discussion by placing educational issues in the perspective of re-understanding Taiwan, this course attempts to draw lessons from cross-strait history.
