The main purpose of this course is to train students to develop digital innovative works by using Arduino. Therefore, this course will focus on Arduino and its related components, including Arduino hardware platform and software development environment. In addition to introducing the Arduino control board, we also introduce hardware modules and electronic components that can be used with the Arduino control board, such as digital and analog sensors, actuators, etc. Because the purpose of this course is to train students to have implementation ability, each student must complete an Arduino-based project to produce a unique digital interactive work at the end of the semester, and go through the procedure of product concept creation, system design to prototype development.
