藉講演及實作，使學生對生命科學的本質，研究生物學之方法，生物學論文之查詢，蒐集，閱讀及寫作有充分之了解與訓練。

Through speech and practice, students can have a full understanding and training of the essence of life sciences, study biology methods, and inquiry, collection, reading and writing of biology articles.

【對象：生醫組學生】培養學生基本生物學研究的方法，使同學瞭解：1、如何提出問題2、如何閱讀3、如何使用圖書館及電子資料庫來解決問題 4、如何清楚的表達自己

【對象：生態組學生】本課程的目的在介紹生態學研究的基本方法及過程。課程內容包括如何觀察、紀錄、找出問題、形成假說、設計實驗、收集資料到資料分析及報告撰寫等。這個課程由數個實驗或觀察貫穿、搭配而成，經由親身參與，同學將能完整了解進行生態學研究的每一步驟及完整過程。

[Object: Ecological Students] The purpose of this course is to introduce the basic methods and processes of ecological research. The course content includes how to observe, record, find problems, form hypotheses, design practices, collect data to data analysis and report writing. This course is composed of several experiments or observations and is matched. Through personal participation, students will be able to fully understand each step and complete process of conducting ecological research.
