懂漢字的人看似很容易就能看得懂簡單的日語文章，於是輕忽日語閱讀的困難度。但是實際在閱讀邏輯性較高的論述性文章時，常常未能正確理解文意，更甚者是不知道自己並沒有正確理解。為使同學確認自己的理解與誤解，本課堂由學生選讀自己感興趣的論文，並自其中選出數句較難解的句子進行讀解。

People who understand Chinese characters seem to be able to understand simple Japanese articles easily, so they underestimate the difficulty of Japanese reading. However, when reading highly logical expository articles, we often fail to correctly understand the meaning of the text, or even worse, we do not know that we have not understood it correctly. In order to allow students to confirm their understanding and misunderstandings, in this class, students will choose papers that they are interested in and select a few difficult sentences to read and interpret.
