本課程乃是為表演藝術碩士學位學程之學生所開設；以經典戲劇文本透過賞析與讀劇方式，期能達成以下目標：
一、讓學生可以深入認識戲劇文本之於表演藝術的重要性。
二、讓學生可以透過經典的認識，理解戲劇文本的細節與表演的因應。
三、讓學生可以開發呈現經典戲劇文本的可能性。
四、讓學生可以培養藝術創作的專業態度。This course is set up by the students of the master's degree in performing arts; the classic drama text can achieve the following goals through appreciation and reading:
First, allow students to understand the importance of drama text to the art of performing arts.
2. Let students understand the details and response of the drama text through the classic understanding.
Third, allow students to develop the possibility of presenting classic drama text.
Fourth, students can cultivate the professional attitude of artistic creation.
