海岸地區生態環境具有多樣化特性，可區分為濱海陸地、海堤及水域，各具有不同動植物生態，受當地人文、地文及社經情況，呈現多采多姿的樣貌，因而本課程期望通過教導學習，幫助學生能將不同區塊生態景觀營造出適地適種的宜居環境，人與環境達到共存共榮之境。
