■ 課程目標 (Course Objectives)
通用設計是「愛的設計」也是「 未來的設計」。面對這一波人口結構的急劇變化,我們必須體認到通用設計是本世紀生活的設計方針,亦是影響台灣未來發展的設計思潮。事實上,對產產業界而言,導入通用設計不僅使產品更能對應使用者多元化需求,對產業形象也有正面的助益。對使用者而言,能享有不因年齡、性別、身體能力影響的生活用品與生活環境,更能提昇生活品質。從公共環境設計到生活產品設計,唯有導入通用設計觀念並整合產官學力量,才能全面提升台灣產業的設計品質。在「以人為本、永續發展」的核心價值下,掌握人文關懷的設計本質,才能創造產業品牌形象,落實全民安心、安全的生活環境,並討論台灣UD發展的可能性與因應策略。
■ 課程內涵 (Course Contents)
台灣面對高齡社會的來臨,所 以不論是居住型態、生活模式、勞動生產模式等皆逐漸產生變化。此時,秉持人本關懷的通用設計(Universal Design),成為本世紀生活的設計方針,亦是影響台灣未來發展的設計思潮。通用設計的核心價值為「人本關懷」。人因有性別、年齡、能力、身體特性等差異,形成各種不同且多元的需求,為了對應這些需求,便需要以人為出發點的設計,以滿足人們在生理、心理及精神生活上的種種需求。關於通用設計的實際效 益,參照通用設計產業發達的日本實例來看,日本企業會根據營運目標制定屬於自己的「UD準則」,再從日本經濟產業省的報告發現UD產品的市場規模正逐年擴大,另外,由日本企業的自主性問卷調查結果得知,多數企業認為UD的導入可提升企業形象,也對提高營業額有正面影響。從公共環境設計到生活產品設計,唯有導入通用設計觀念並整合產官學力量,才能全面提升台灣產業的設計品質。在「以人為本、永續發展」的核心價值下,掌握人文關懷的設計本質,才能創造產業品牌形象,落實全民安心、安全的生活環境。
■ Course Objectives
General design is "love design" and "future design". Faced with this wave of emergency changes in population structure, we must personally realize that general design is the design point of life in this century and also a design trend that affects Taiwan's future development. In fact, for the industry, introducing general design not only makes the product more suitable for users' diversified needs, but also has a positive benefit to the industry image. For users, being able to enjoy daily necessities and living environments that are not affected by age, gender, and physical ability can also improve the quality of life. From public environment design to daily product design, only by introducing general design concepts and integrating the strength of industry officials can we comprehensively improve the design quality of Taiwan's industry. Under the core value of "people-oriented and sustainable development", only by mastering the design essence of humanities and culture can we create a brand image, implement a safe and safe living environment for the whole people, and discuss the possibility and corresponding strategies of UD development in Taiwan.
■ Course Contents
As Taiwan faces the arrival of high-altitude societies, it is gradually changing in terms of living style, lifestyle, and labor production models. At this time, Universal Design, which adheres to human-centered concerns, has become a design point for life in this world, and is also a design trend that affects Taiwan's future development. The core value of a general design is "humanistic concern". People have different and diverse needs due to differences in gender, age, ability, and physical characteristics. In order to meet these needs, people need to design as a development point to meet people's physical, psychological and spiritual life. Regarding the actual benefits of general design, referring to the Japanese examples developed by general design, Japanese companies will formulate their own "UD standards" based on their operating goals, and then from the report of the Ministry of Economic Development of Japan, it was found that the market size of UD products is growing year by year. In addition, the results of the independent questionnaire of Japanese companies have learned that most companies believe that the introduction of UD can enhance the company's image and have a positive impact on increasing the business size. From public environment design to daily product design, only by introducing general design concepts and integrating the strength of industry officials can we comprehensively improve the design quality of Taiwan's industry. Under the core value of "people-oriented and sustainable development", only by mastering the design essence of humanities and culture can we create a brand image and implement a safe and secure living environment for the whole people.
本課程為介紹通用設計之起源、內容、思考方式及如何實踐於設計行為中。Universal Design譯成「通用設計」。「無障礙設計」、「福祉設計」、「全人關懷」等乃是Universal Design思潮興起的背景因素。生活環境中有著各式各樣關係的存在,可彙整成「人」-「產品」-「環境」三者間的關係,這些種種「關係」的探討,可說是「關係」的設計;而「關係」的思考方式,同時也是Universal Design「在最大限度的可能範圍內,不分性別、年齡與能力,適合所有人使用方便的環境或產品之設計」的原點。
This course introduces the origin, content, thinking and how to implement the design behavior of general design. Universal Design translated into "universal design". "Disable Design", "Welfare Design", "Worksman Responsibility" and so on are the background factors that sparked the rise of Universal Design. There are various relationships in the living environment, which can be transformed into relationships between "people" - "products" - "environment". These explorations of "relationships" can be said to be "relationships" designs; and the way of thinking of "relationships" is also the original point of Universal Design's "in the maximum possible range, regardless of gender, age and ability, it is suitable for everyone to use the environment or product design."
