「現代理論與趨勢」(Current Practices) 是一堂專門開給作曲主修與電子琴主修的必修課程. 本課程的目標是提供修課學生深入且徹底研讀與分析樂曲的技巧, 曲目為十九世紀末至二十世紀中期各創作學派的代表作品. 指定曲目(target study)在學期初即列入課程大綱, 其研讀進度則視學生的需要及其課堂表現來做調整, 並適時加入補充教材或更換曲目. 由於這是專給學習創作者的進階課程, 任課老師的角色著重在課堂中與學生共同思辨、研究討論的過程, 盡量減少單向的知識傳播. 藉著深入研究重要曲目, 順勢延伸至各學派寫作手法的探討, 提供學生在創作上最實際的啟發與幫助.
Current Practices is a compulsory course dedicated to composer majoring and electronic piano majoring. The purpose of this course is to provide students with in-depth and thorough study and analysis of music. The repertoire is a representative work of various creative schools from the end of the 19th century to the mid-20th century. The target study is included in the course at the beginning of the school year, and its study progress depends on the needs of students and their class performance, and add supplementary textbooks or replace repertoire at appropriate times. Since this is an advanced course dedicated to learning creators, the role of the teacher focuses on the process of thinking and researching discussions with students in the classroom, and reduces the single-directional knowledge transmission. By in-depth research on important repertoire, it is extended to the exploration of writing techniques of various schools, providing students with the most practical initiation and assistance in creation.
