東海大學哲學系博士班成立之目的，在於培養哲學研究與教學之人才，而論文寫作能力之訓練為本系教學重點之一。畢業論文之設立，在於訓練學生獨立思考、寫作、提問、深入研究與解決哲學問題之能力，有助於教學目的之達成。
本課程係非講演性質之課程，學生須依本系碩博士班修業規則之規定進行論文之撰寫與考試。
The purpose of the establishment of the PhD class of Donghai University is to cultivate talents in philosophical research and teaching, and the training of thesis writing ability is one of the focus of teaching. The establishment of the graduation thesis is to train students' ability to think, write, ask questions, and solve philosophical problems independently, and help the teaching purpose.
This course is a non -lectured course. Students must write and examine the dissertation in accordance with the provisions of the Master's doctoral classes.
